My research focuses conservation, sustainable use and conservation-hunting within the scope of arctic. I am involved in projects that will examine the legal, policy and ethical framework within which sport hunting is practiced; and also to look at economic development of wild resources in the arctic; and to explore the culturally-appropriate wildlife management and biodiversity conservation initiatives in indigenous and local communities; to explore the relationships in the international conventions and treaties with arctic conservation.
