Final Report Now Available

This report is meant to serve as a point of reference for immediate planning in preparation for the International Polar Year and for an Arctic Observing Network, and also to provide a perspective on SEARCH beyond the immediate needs and priorities. The report draws from a number of sources and community discussions. These sources include the initial SEARCH Science Plan (2001) and Implementation Strategy (2003); white papers prepared by the three SEARCH panels; community input received in response to the white papers posted on the Internet; and discussions during and after the SEARCH Implementation Workshop.
