I wanted to express my grateful thanks for the opportunity to present my work at the ARCUS Arctic Forum. I was honoured to receive one of your student awards, and I greatly enjoyed meeting and talking with the diverse group of researchers that you assembled in Washington. Facilitation of interdisciplinary science is badly needed and I appreciated your efforts in doing so. |
I received the articles from the newspaper as well as the travel reimbursement in the mail today. Thank you very much for inviting me to participate in the ARCUS meeting. I enjoyed interacting with researchers and scientists from a wide range of disciplines. I learned a great deal from the oral presentations and the posters and also from talking with others at the meeting. It was a good experience for me, and I appreciate ARCUS' support of students to attend the meeting. Thanks again. |

I thoroughly appreciated attending the ARCUS meeting. I met Arctic researchers who are working in related areas who I had not previously had contact with. We are now exchanging data and information and I am excited about possible future collaborations. Thank you for bringing me to the meeting and I hope the student award continues well into the future so other students may benefit from the same exposure and advice as I have. |
I am writing to thank you and ARCUS for recognizing my research by granting me an ARCUS Award for Arctic Research Excellence. It is a pleasure to work on such interesting problems and with such wonderful colleagues. I hope you will continue this award in the future to encourage students like myself. |

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and all of ARCUS for awarding me the Annual ARCUS Student Award and for affording me the chance to not only present my work, but to hear such a fine and interconnected series of presentations during the Arctic Forum. I very much enjoyed the presentations and the opportunity to interact with so many arctic scientists in a relaxed atmosphere. I strongly encourage ARCUS to continue these awards in the future, for they serve to boost the morale of Master's and Ph.D. students right at the time when the strain of their programs leads to the greatest doubts about the value of their endeavors. Thank you for the opportunity. I look forward to future interactions with the arctic science community. |
