Sarah Crowley Sarah Crowley is making her roots a bit deeper here in Alaska by accepting the position of Education Project Manager in 2011. She began her Alaskan journey working for Alaska Geographic at the Murie Science and Learning Center in Denali National Park and Preserve. Through her years in Denali, Sarah developed a passion for polar education and facilitating meaningful education experiences for students and teachers. A teacher herself, Sarah worked in the field of environmental education on the California coast, in the Sierra Nevada and Rocky Mountains, Interior Alaska, and the Pacific Northwest. Her M.Ed and Graduate Certificate in Education, Environment, and Community are from the University of Washington- Seattle. In her spare time Sarah loves to travel, bird-watch, chop wood, talk to her brothers, and is always rooting for her hometown team: The Boston Red Sox.

[Janet Warburton] Janet Warburton joined ARCUS in October 2000. Her primary focus as Project Manager is education related projects such as PolarTREC. Janet and her husband Brad have a son, Landon and daughter, Kalena. They share their home with 4 retired sled dogs, and one chubby yellow lab. Any spare time that Janet has is devoted to sleeping, playing with the kids, or playing in the great outdoors!

Sean Topkok

Sean worked with ARCUS from 1997 to 2005. Though currently employed as Information Systems Professional with the University of Alaska Fairbanks, he continues to work closely with ARCUS on various educational programs. Sean can usually be found working to maintain the Alaska Native Knowledge Network website, or helping rural communities document cultural knowledge with Cultural Atlases. When not working hard identifying, cataloguing, and distributing Indigenous curriculum materials, Sean may be found spending time with his wife Amy and their three sons Christopher, Aaron, and Joseph.
