About the Program

The Arctic Visiting Speakers Series funds researchers and other arctic experts to travel and share their knowledge in communities where they might not otherwise connect. Speakers cover a wide range of arctic research topics and can address a variety of audiences including K-12 students, graduate and undergraduate students, and the public.

Through the menu on the left side of this page, you will find information on how to join the growing number of distinguished arctic researchers and experts who participate in the Arctic Visiting Speakers Series. To learn about previous Speakers' tours, click on the corresponding year or visit Upcoming Tours page to read about future scheduled tours.

Individuals interested in becoming visiting speakers may complete the forms found in the Join Speakers Bureau section. The information will become a part of the searchable database of speakers.

Organizations and communities interested in hosting a speaker will find information on the application process in the Host a Speaker section.
