Organizers of the Bering Sea Open Science Meeting (BSOSM) announce a
call for abstracts and registration. The meeting, held in conjunction
with the 2014 Ocean Science Meeting, will convene 22-23 February 2014 in
Honolulu, Hawaii.

BSOSM welcomes topics that address understanding the impacts of climate
change and dynamic sea ice cover on the eastern Bering Sea ecosystem as
well as related work from other research programs or other subarctic
regions. The key theme for the BSOSM, integration and synthesis, is
intended to extend the cross-discipline work and novel collaborations
have been central to the Bering Sea Project.

BSOSM will consist of an evening reception and poster session on 22
February and an all-day plenary session on 23 February 2014.
Registration is free of charge.

Abstracts from integrated author teams proposing synthesis or
cross-discipline talks will be given priority. Abstract submissions for
posters also presented at the Ocean Sciences meeting are welcome.
Abstract for oral presentations must be submitted only to the BSOSM.
Oral presentations will each be allotted 30 minutes.

To submit an abstract, and to register for the meeting, please go to:
