8:40 a.m. Projects make 10 min presentation- Focus on broader synthesis and linkages

10:10 a.m. Break out into groups of 8- Discuss synthesis options

10:50 a.m. Break out groups report to plenary (one-slide summary per group) (Emerald III)
11:30 a.m. Combined session with Synthesis of Arctic System Science (SASS) investigators (Emerald III)
  • Short presentation from one representative from SASS and SNACS (10 minutes each, 20 minutes total) summarizing focus of projects
  • Short presentation from one representative from SASS and SNACS (10 minutes each, 20 minutes total) summarizing respective morning plenary and break-out discussions on synthesis approaches
  • Group discussion on approaches to integration and synthesis for understanding of the arctic system (20 minutes)
