2003 ARCSS Synthesis Retreat | Overview

Overview | Agenda | Participant List | Presentations | ARCSS Meetings

The first ARCSS Synthesis Retreat was held 10-16 August 2003 at Big Sky, Montana. The retreat's goal was to begin distilling and integrating current knowledge into a more holistic perspective of the arctic system. The 30 participants represented a diverse array of disciplines. Retreat discussions, largely participant driven, ranged from debates about defining the arctic system and its major components, to analyses of the relationships between these components.

An annotated bibliography of readings relevant to the Big Sky retreat are available as PDF.
