Kilpisjärvi
Biological Station is situated at the foot of Mount Saana
in NW Finnish Lapland (69°N). The aim of the station is to
promote biological and geographical research in the north, and
to provide students of biology and geography with information
about natural phenomena in northern lands. The station is open
the whole year round to researchers of all nationalities. The
laboratory and other facilities are modern. Altogether there is
