The
Canadian Polar Commission (CPC) is Canada's lead agency in the
area of polar research. The CPC is currently constructing the Canadian
Polar Information Network (CPIN), an online resource including
a search engine, a Science Forum, and a database of researchers.

The
Polar Continental Shelf Project (PCSP) provides logistics support
and advice to Canadian research groups, and, on a cost-recovery
basis, to non-Canadian researchers. PCSP maintains two bases in
the Northwest Territories; one at Resolute Bay on Cornwallis Island,
bordering Barrow Strait and the Northwest Passage; the other at
Tuktoyaktuk at the mouth of the Mackenzie River, on the shore of
the Beaufort Sea. Details about both facilities are available in
the PCSP Operations
Manual.PCSP also maintains an online Inventory
of Science and Technology Facilities in Canada's North. which
contains detailed information on research facilities throughout
northern Canada.

Arctic Institute of North America (AINA) is a non-profit membership
organization and a research institute of the University of Calgary.
AINA operates research stations at Kluane
Lake and Devon
Island.
