project manager and became the Project
Coordinator in January 2008. In addition to

taught English as a second language in
Thailand, and finally made her way to
Fairbanks, where she earned her M.A. in
anthropology from UAF. She is passionate about
the outdoors and understanding how people
relate to their environment. She enjoys
exploring the wonders of interior Alaska with
her husband, Phil, and their two dogs and cats. |

Kennan Jeannet Project Assistant |
||
Kennan is a project assistant at ARCUS and works on a variety of programs and activities. Upon realizing that, while traveling the world is exhilarating and magnificent, it doesn’t pay very well, Kennan decided to return to her hometown of Fairbanks, Alaska and began work at ARCUS in May of 2008 (after spending a year adventuring in Southeast Asia). With two years left to complete her undergraduate degree in Biology, Kennan looks forward to pursuing a deeper understanding of arctic research through the reaches of ARCUS. When not working, Kennan can be found riding elevators, studying, or rock climbing. |
