The Study of Environmental Arctic Change (SEARCH;
http://www.arcus.org/search-program) is a program with a vision of
scientific understanding to help society understand and respond to a
rapidly changing Arctic. A recent grant from the National Science
Foundation (NSF) Division of Polar Programs' Arctic Sciences Section
will support an organizational structure and suite of activities to
achieve the vision. The two positions below are part of the new grant to
implement and support SEARCH objectives.

PROJECT MANAGER
The Arctic Research Consortium of the U.S. (ARCUS) is looking for a
highly motivated and experienced project manager to support the SEARCH
program. This position will work with ARCUS staff, SEARCH committees,
agency personnel, and the broader research community to support and
implement a variety of activities. The successful candidate will provide
professional project management to meet deadlines in a rapidly evolving
environment.

COMMUNICATOR/FACILITATOR
SEARCH seeks a full-time Communicator/Facilitator to assist a Sea Ice
Action Team and SEARCH as a whole in achieving its goals. The
communicator/facilitator position will enable and implement
communication and collaboration among members of the SEARCH
organization, scientific community, stakeholders, other related
programs, funding agencies, and government organizations.
