The Alaska Center for Climate Assessment and Policy (ACCAP) will host a
webinar titled "National Ecological Observatory Network in Alaska: Taiga
and Tundra" on Tuesday, 6 January 2015 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. AKST. It
will be presented by Katrine Gorham, NEON Field Operations Manager,
Alaska.

As part of the continental scale National Ecological Observatory Network
(NEON), study sites are being developed in the Alaska taiga and tundra
regions. NEON will gather long-term data on ecological responses of the
biosphere to changes in land use and climate, and on feedbacks with the
geosphere, hydrosphere, and atmosphere. Please join the webinar for an
overview of the NEON project and look ahead at development activities
planned for Alaska.
