The Organizing Committee of the Workshop on Future Directions for Arctic
Research Logistics announces that a deliberative draft of the workshop
report is now available. To download and read the draft, please go to:
http://www.arcus.org/logistics/2013-workshop/report.

The report is the result of presentations and discussions at the
NSF-funded October 2013 workshop (for more information, go to:
http://www.arcus.org/logistics/2013-workshop), several iterations by the
Organizing Committee, and one round of participant review. The second
and final round of participant review is currently in progress.

We invite the Arctic community to review the draft and send in their
thoughts on the report. While the content and recommendations are the
direct product of the work done at the meeting, we are interested in a
wider perspective regarding its readability, level of detail, and
potential usefulness. If you have thoughts on these big-picture aspects
of the report, please contact Kristina Creek (creek [at] arcus.org).

After incorporating this final review into the current draft, the report
will be copy-edited, designed, and published. It will primarily be
available in digital format. We expect final publication in April 2014.

Deadline for comments: Friday, 21 March 2014.
